13th Academic Council Meeting of Postgraduate Medical Institute (PGMI) / Ameer-ud-Din Medical College (AMC) / Lahore General Hospital (LGH) was held on 26th January 2026 at the Conference Room, Lahore General Hospital, Lahore. The meeting was chaired by Honourable Prof. Dr. Muhammad Farooq Afzal, Principal PGMI/AMC/LGH. The session was convened with a single-point agenda focusing on the planning, coordination, and final preparations for the 6th Convocation of AMC/PGMI. Detailed discussions were carried out regarding the convocation schedule and proceedings, interdepartmental coordination, formation and confirmation of relevant committees, allocation of responsibilities, verification and finalization of graduating students’ lists, medals/awards and degree distribution arrangements, venue management and seating plan, stage arrangements, guest protocol, security measures, administrative planning, and overall logistical support to ensure the convocation is conducted smoothly, successfully, and in an organized manner. The meeting concluded with a collective commitment to uphold the highest standards of academic excellence and ensure the dignified and memorable conduct of the 6th Convocation
