Groundbreaking Rezūm (Steam) Therapy Demonstration at Lahore General Hospital A pioneering live demonstration of the Rezūm (Steam) Therapy for the treatment of prostate enlargement was successfully organized at Lahore General Hospital (LGH) under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Farooq Afzal, Principal Postgraduate Medical Institute / Ameer-ud-Din Medical College / Lahore General Hospital. The international urology experts Prof. Asim Chaudhary (UK) and Prof. Khizar Hayat Gondal (UK) introduced this latest, minimally invasive technology for the management of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). They emphasized that the introduction of Rezūm therapy marks a new era in urological treatment, offering safer, quicker recovery and reduced hospital stay compared to traditional surgery.
