Workshop on Research Methodology — PGMI/AMC/LGH The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Farooq Afzal, Principal PGMI/AMC/LGH, and attended by faculty members, postgraduate supervisors, and academic staff. We were privileged to host Dr. Tehmina Basit (Cambridge, UK) — Professor of Education and Director, Institute for Education Policy Research, Staffordshire University — as the distinguished resource person. Dr. Basit has a rich academic background, having served at Keele University, Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Leicester, and University of Wolverhampton. Her expertise lies in Research Methods, and she has developed the MSc in Educational Research Methods at the University of Leicester. She has also authored a renowned book and numerous journal articles on educational research and qualitative methodologies. During her interactive session, Dr. Basit shared profound insights on research design, methodological rigor, and scholarly writing. Participants deeply appreciated her clarity, practical guidance, and passion for fostering research excellence.
